The Foodie Blogroll

Very exciting news, my faithful 9 readers (and recent Canadian and Singaporean visitors): I've finally, after a few attempts, been selected as part of the Foodie Blogroll! See the widget in my sidebar. This is a big deal for me as a Jewish vegetarian Japanese fusion food blogger because it helps other Jewish vegetarian Japanese fusion food lovers find me. And even plain old generic vegetarians have only 15 pages of blog listings to scan to find me. I think that joining this blogroll may help me add another reader!

I found some of my favorite bloggers through the Foodie Blogroll. Check them out in my Sidebar:
Ari Cooks
Elle's New England Kitchen
hapa bento
Stoner Food

If you have a food blog, you should think about joining too.

UPDATE:
I was right! I gained a new reader, Ariella of Ari Cooks. Now I can have a minyan of gourmets!

And thanks for all the invites to join other food blog communities! I'm excited about meeting new bloggers, virtual and faceless as that experience may be. The green burrito you see pictured has to do with joining Foodista. I hope they're not just into me for my looks.

Hey Sarah. Congratulations! I have another way for Jewish Vegetarian Japanese Fusion foodies to find you, if you're up for it. I made a website for food bloggers called Fridge to Food. Each recipe you post there can link back to the source post. I made it with foodie bloggers in mind, because I didn't like any of the existing recipe sharing communities.

It's very image centric - each recipe has a gallery of images going with it where users can post their attempts at the recipes. It has a reputation system and a vote based rating system. So as users vote on your recipes you'll gain reputation. And it has ingredient and title based searching along with tags. So that users can find your recipes when they need them.

It only started about a month ago and I've been trying to recruit foodie bloggers to help found the community since then. It's a community based website, so it doesn't work with out a community of contributers. If you want to put your recipes in it, but don't have the time, I can add them for you. You just have to take 5 minutes to register and click the box that gives me permission to add your recipes to your account.

I've worked very hard on it for the last nine months in every moment of spare time I've had. I'm not paid to make it, I made it cause I could and because I wanted to. If you're interested, check out fridgetofood.com and let me know what you think of it!
